Alec Baldwin’s wife snaps at him on the red carpet

Alec Baldwin and his wife, Hilaria, attended the red carpet event for the reopening of Planet Hollywood in New York City when she began berating him. Hilaria, a former yoga instructor, was speaking with the entertainment show Extra about the possibility of a second season of their reality series, The Baldwins, which premiered on TLC last month.
During the interview, Hilaria paused, prompting Alec, 66, to jokingly remark, “The Hilaria Show.” Hilaria responded, “No, I think we are going to see, you know, we’re going to see how it feels to be out there.”
Alec chimed in, “It’s gonna be great. You’re a winner.”
However, Hilaria, 41, quickly turned to him, snapping, “Oh, my God. When I’m talking, you’re not talking.”
Alec replied, “I’m sorry,” but his apology did little to defuse her irritation.
She continued, “No. When I’m talking, you’re not talking.” Turning back to the reporter, she joked, “This is why we’ll just have to cut him out of the show.”
As Hilaria resumed her conversation with the reporter, Alec added, “You’re so beautiful.”
This irritated her further, prompting her to scold him. “Oh, my god, stop. You’re annoying me. Stop. It’s not cute. No, it’s distracting me.” Alec apologized again, offering, “I’m just captivated by your beauty,” which only fueled her anger. As he mouthed something else about her beauty to the camera, she threatened, “I’m going to, like, walk out of this interview right now.”
To placate her, Alec stepped away, allowing Hilaria to continue discussing their reality show. She explained, “Let me go back. It’s all about routine. Every day we strive to be boring, and then un-boring things happen to us as they do with seven children.”
Alec and Hilaria share seven children from their 12-year marriage: five boys aged eleven to four, and two daughters aged four and two. Alec also has a daughter, Ireland, from his previous marriage to Kim Basinger.
A clip from the interview was later shared on TikTok, where users criticized Hilaria’s behavior. One user commented, “She acts like a teenager talking to her dad,” while another described her as “very rude” and “disrespectful.”

I have tried a few times to watch their reality show, not that I was very interested in doing so. I find it boring, and I have not watched a full episode. Far from it. Enough to give it a chance, though. I find Hilaria tough to watch. Her voice, and overbearing nature. I doubt it will last one season, and according to reviews here and elsewhere, it should not. I read that the kids want it to continue, in order to get more money. Good luck with that one!
Hilaria is 41. Alec is 66. The article says. Kind of odd, some of the comments here that say she is older. I guess answering the question…no, she should not have acted like that on the red carpet. And Alec seems to just try to keep the peace.
Wow, such positive comments on here!?! 🙄 Having watched a few episodes of the show, I know she is Spanish, ( hello, spicy Latina temper), and she seems to be a very high energy person, which is probably a good thing considering she has to wrangle 7 children everyday! He’s obviously attracted to that. Do I think she should berate him in public? No, but people are human. And to Mauricio who made the rude comment about the horrible gun accident that happened on the movie set… uhhh pretty sure it’s literally the prop masters job, you know, the professional person who has proper training to handle firearms, to load the blanks in the guns. The actors are just there to use the props and act. 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️

I have watched the episodes that have aired so far. They have had a lot to deal with over the last few years. It is entertaining as a reality show & watching the wrangling of 7 children is like herding cats. Their family dynamic is not what most of us are living with so we need to let it go & enjoy or not.

I watched their show and she is definitely an alfa-female. That’s ok as long as you don’t become arrogant and condescending. Unfortunately she is!

I think she is rude and has a hateful voice. How she can berate her husband in public is beyond rude. The show is boring and I don’t know how the marriage lasted so long.
Alec’s wife was rude to her husband and she shouldn’t have been doing that in public, but rather take this into a private setting. I find her very disrespectful to her husband. It was really uncalled for.

I watched 1.5 episodes until I couldn’t take her anymore. He is funny if she ever lets him talk. She is spoiled and believes herself to be interesting which she is most definitely not.
