Alyssa Milano has left the ABC show Mistresses after production was moved from Los Angeles to Vancouver. In a note on her website, the former child star explained she didn’t want to uproot her family. “It’s with a heavy heart that I have decided that I can’t relocate,” Alyssa wrote. “I have two babies under four. Being a mother and wife comes first and I just cannot uproot my children and separate the family by moving away.” She has two children with her husband David Bugliari – son Milo, three, and daughter Elizabella, born just last month.
The move to Vancouver, according to Alyssa, was due to “financial reasons.” Mistresses was recently renewed for a third season. There has been no word yet how the show will precede without its top-billed star. The former Charmed star, however, has no ill will towards the cast and crew, concluding her goodbye message with: “I will miss this job desperately and wish everyone the absolute best.” ~Kelly Townsend
