Amanda Bynes involuntarily hospitalized for mental evaluation

Amanda Bynes, 27, has been hospitalized on a 5150 hold after starting a fire in the driveway of a home in Thousand Oaks, California on Monday night, according to TMZ. The fire department responded to a call at around 9 p.m. after being informed about the fire. When sheriff’s deputies arrived, Amanda was standing next to the campfire. They questioned her, but her responses were too strange to comprehend so she was placed on a 5150 hold, which is an involuntary hospitalization for mental evaluation of up 72 hours. Prior to that incident, Amanda was confronted by police for attempting to break into a nursing home on Sunday night. Employees at the retirement community believed she was intoxicated, so they called a cab for her. However, when the cab arrived, she was kicked out for saying, “Get me the f**k out of here … I don’t have any money.” Amanda attempted to enter the retirement community a second time, so police were called. ~Alfonso Espina
