Amanda Bynes She’s the Man actress Amanda Bynes, 28, will be held for another month in the psychiatric facility where she has spent the past 17 days, TMZ reports. Amanda has been in the facility ever since she was restrained and involuntarily committed. This was as a result of an elaborate ruse created by her parents, following her increasingly erratic behavior, with the intent of getting their daughter the help she needs. On Monday, Amanda’s doctors privately asked a judge for a 30-day extension to her involuntary confinement, otherwise Amanda would have been free to leave later that day. The judge granted the extension after reviewing the doctor’s case, which claimed Amanda is “very ill” and in no shape to care for herself.  ~Janine Wyslobicky
