While shopping, Amanda Bynes apparently locked herself in the fitting room at West Hollywood boutique Kin, according to the store’s employees. She took clothes inside and stayed there for nearly two hours. The clerk became worried when he heard banging noises approximately every 10 minutes, so he called another employee to come to the store. The second employee drove there and knocked on the dressing room door, but Amanda just told them she needed more time. After about an hour and 45 minutes, she came out with a number of items and took them to the cash register. This is where it gets stranger. She paid for a pair of stilettos, sunglasses and a few other things but as she was walking out with her purchases, she turned around and told them she’d tried on a bathing suit top underneath her dress and had forgotten she’d still had it on. She paid for it and then was about to leave when she noticed paparazzi in the plaza outside and asked the clerk if he would call for a taxi. When the cab arrived, she covered her face and left. TMZ reports that one of the clerks told someone: “I was so worried about her. I didn’t know what she was doing in [the dressing room]. I didn’t know if she was overdosing, or doing drugs or what.” Amanda is set to appear in court next week on two counts of hit-and-run accidents.
