Amanda Bynes soaked her dog in gasoline

Amanda Bynes‘ recent troubles continue to grow as new details emerge about her bizarre activity prior to being involuntarily hospitalized for mental evaluation. Amanda, 27, had her dog with her as she set a fire in a stranger’s driveway in Thousand Oaks, California. “I see this girl with her pant leg on fire and a gas can trailing fire through the driveway,” eyewitness Andrew Liverpool told E! News. “I quickly pull over to go help her and when I got over here she put the fire out on her leg and was rushing over to her dog.” Amanda was described as “kind of frantic and discombobulated.” According to TMZ, Amanda accidentally drenched her pet Pomeranian in gasoline, so she rushed into a liquor store in an attempt to clean it. Surveillence footage obtained by TMZ shows a blonde-wigged Amanda carrying her dog straight into an employee-restricted area, while the store’s cashier chases after her. The store’s owner told TMZ that the cashier smelled the gasoline and found Amanda rinsing her dog in the store’s sink. When she was caught by the cashier, Amanda “freaked out” and left the premises. The actress remains on a 5150 hold, while her dog is safely with her parents. ~Alfonso Espina
