Amanda Bynes to be home for Christmas

Amanda Bynes may be home for the holidays. According to a report from TMZ, her mental health has significantly improved since she was moved to a Malibu rehab facility in September. Previously, Amanda was being held at the UCLA Medical Center, where she was diagnosed with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. Amanda made the switch as the psych ward where she was being held “freaked her out,” which did not allow her mental state to improve. Sources told TMZ that both the medication and psychological counselling have significantly stabilized Amanda and her mental state. Doctors will be releasing her sometime next month to her mother and she will then be taken to her parents’ home. The doctor’s only concern for Amanda right now inside the rehab facility is that she is going stir-crazy. She is unable to go outside due to paparazzi swarming the area. The staff is also worried that the paparazzi will take pictures if Amanda is seen around other patients, thereby compromising the other patients. ~Brie Davis
