American Hustle scores top honors at SAG Awards 2014

The 20th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards, another prestigious award night that brought the top Hollywood stars under one roof, was held in Los Angeles on Saturday, January 18. American Hustle took the top award of the evening, winning outstanding cast in a motion picture. Bradley Cooper, who spoke on behalf of the ensemble, sang praises of the director David O. Russell: “He is an actor’s director. He is the reason why we all wanted to become actors as children.” Matthew McConaughey walked away with the best lead actor award, adding to his Golden Globe and Critics Choice Award wins. “It really shines a great light on this bull ride we call acting,” said Matthew. “I’ve been able to recently find some characters that I can humble myself to their humanities and get feverishly drunk on their obsessions.” As predicted, Cate Blanchett was honored for her performance in Blue Jasmine and Jared Leto accepted the award for his performance in the HIV drama Dallas Buyers Club. He dedicated the award to “the Rayons of the world.” Beating Jennifer Lawrence in the supporting actress category was 12 Years a Slave‘s Lupita Nyong’o. Also, was meine Meinung ge盲ndert? Eine Anzeige der abgeschnittenen Hosen, die sehr Tory Burch sah, waren aber nur 25 $. Sie waren nicht im Verkauf. Das war, wie viel sie kosten, den vollen Preis, ohne Rabatte.
