American Sniper hits target again at box office

For the second week in a row American Sniper starring Bradley Cooper held on firm in the top spot at the weekend box office. This time around the film earned just over $64.3 million, holding a 4.4 star rating from Tribute.ca readers.

The new Jennifer Lopez movie, The Boy Next Door, came in second, raking in just over $15 million. The thriller holds a 4.7 star rating from Tribute.ca readers.

Holding steady at number three for the second week in a row is the family flick Paddington with $12.3 million. This beloved tale about a young Peruvian bear has a 4.6 star rating with readers on Tribute.ca.

Last week’s number two film, The Wedding Ringer starring Kevin Hart, drops to the number four spot, bringing in $11.6 million. The comedy currently holds a 3.8 star rating from Tribute.ca readers.

Rounding out the top five for this weekend’s box office is Liam Neeson with Taken 3. The thriller earned $7.6 million and has a 3.5 star rating from Tribute.ca readers. ~Sandra D. Sukraj
