Naked Harry Potter a disappointment

It may have been a hit in London, but ticket sales for Equus on Broadway are disappointing. Daniel Radcliffe, who plays the title role in the Harry Potter films, appears nude onstage in the play, but sales have been dropping since it opened.

Barely 60 per cent of the Broadhurst Theatre’s seats were sold last week and the show brought in just over $500,000 gross, a whopping $100,000 less than the week before. The show, which opened just over a month ago, is scheduled to run to February, but may close early if ticket sales continue to drop.
