Amy Adams lands Lois Lane role

Director Zach Snyder has announced that three-time Oscar nominee Amy Adams, 36, has been cast as Lois Lane in the upcoming movie Superman: Man of Steel. “There was a big, giant search for Lois,” Snyder told the Los Angeles Times. “For us it was a big thing and obviously a really important role. We did a lot of auditioning but we had this meeting with Amy Adams and after that I just felt she was perfect for it.” Amy joins British actor Henry Cavill as Superman and Diane Lane as Superman’s mother in the cast. Superman: Man of Steel is expected to hit theaters in December 2012.

hopefully they make this movie good, the last one was horrible reasons below:

1)lois lane is a wh*re and should be on MoPo for having as baby with someone else

    2) Superman didn’t even throw ONE DAMN PUNCH, are you kidding

    3)Lux Luthur, realy another re-estate scam..realy…reallyy…rrreeaaallyy

Maxis powersss: Points 2 and 3 are ok, I can live with, third point could be argued that the “real estate scam” did have a fantastic twist to it. One that took into account thwarting Superman. That being said: issue 1. really? did you not pay attention to the young lad’s “super strength”? And in the end the realization that this was Superman and Lois’ son? Perhaps you should re-watch the movie. Just a suggestion.
As for Amy Adams being selected for the role of Lois Lane: I must confess, that I don’t know her work, but I do know the original actress to embody the roll in live action (Noel Neill) was a redhead.
