Anne Hathaway goes platinum blonde

The beautiful Anne Hathaway, 30, transformed her dark brunette locks into platinum blonde in time for this year’s Met Gala in New York City. The theme this year was “Punk: From Chaos to Couture.” The actress, also known for her wonderful singing voice, was devastated after shaving her head for Les Misérables, but she seems very pleased with her new golden look. Anne told Vogue.com on the red carpet, “I don’t know if you can tell by looking at me but Debbie Harry was kind of an inspiration.” She told E!: “It’s just something I wanted to do forever and this seemed like a really good opportunity to give it a go. And if I didn’t like it, I could blame it on fashion.” Along with her new hairdo, the star sported a racy see-through Valentino dress, leaving little to the imagination. ~Sarah Dos Santos[poll id=”445″]
