Anne Hathaway spews hatred at paparazzi

Anne Hathaway may be an A-list actress, but she managed to get on one paparazzo’s list of worst celebrities. Miami-based photog Logan Fazio sat down for a chat with Fox 411 to talk about the ups and downs of her job and firsthand experiences with celebrities, and surprisingly, Anne’s name came up when she was asked about her toughest celebrity encounter. Fazio called the Les Mis actress a “tough cookie,” and she didn’t have anything good to say about her, adding: “She just spews hatred and negativity the minute she spies any paparazzi. She’s one of those that will go out of her way to tell you what a loser you are, instead of just letting you take nice pictures.” Although the pap admitted that “a nice picture of her would be worth the work,” she revealed she actually avoids Anne while on the clock in Miami. “She just depresses me,” said Fazio. The photo here shows Anne walking her chocolate Lab last December 26. Inset is a photo of the poop-filled doggie bag she then left on pap Steve Ginsburg’s car.  ~Yara Matar

i don’t blame Anne. Although she seems weird and her huge mouth with big eyes scares me too!

That’s funny. I like her even more for this!

So a paparazzi doesn’t like that Anne Hathaway won’t allow constant invasion of her privacy? And why is this news? An interview with Ms. Hathaway would be more interesting.

pretty soon she’ll get old. we’ll forget about her and she’ll long for the days when people paid attention to anything she did.

It seems a double edge sword… they want to be rich & famous and they want the notoriety, but, when they are hounded they cry” foul”….If I was rich and famous I would say hey, this comes with the territory!

I love how the intrusive, stalker paparazzo is acting like the victim.

Paparazzi don’t want “nice” pictures. That’s not what sells tabloids. They want the nasty, ugly and out-of-context controversial photos.
I don’t care how famous a person is, s/he deserves some privacy. I know I’d be out of my mind in a week if I couldn’t move outside my own home without flashbulbs going off in my face all the time. Many can’t even get privacy in their own homes with paparazzi shooting them from trees with telephoto lenses.

There’s nothing more ironic and funny than people writing against the paparazzo culture… on a Celebrity Gossip page.

To all the people railing against Fazio around here: you do realize YOU ARE A BIG PART OF THE PROBLEM, right?

    No? You don’t see it? A’ight – moving on…

People have to earn a living, and not everyone is as fortunate as Ms. Hathaway. Instead of calling them losers and leaving poop bags on their cars, maybe Hathaway could try to learn a little empathy and compassion. A nice person wouldn’t judge someone so harshly or be so damn abusive toward people trying to stay fed, clothed and sheltered.

Anne Hathaway is a dirtbag and ugly woman. She looks like a ten year old boy with Down Syndrome and should be slapped as such or locked in a closet.

Everyones opinion is so unbelievably biased it makes me laugh.

You leeches deserve so much worse. Good for you Anne, good for you! I wouldn’t be nearly as nice as she is if you fools invaded my personal space like that. You’d get one verbal warning to get the hell away from me, then you’d have a massive problem on your hands…

The girl’s got big brass ones…so very glad the stalk-arazzi get to know firsthand how it feels when strangers invade their personal space on a visceral level. Fame comes with a certain level of exposure, but the paps are always pushing the envelope of extreme behavior. You go girl!!!

I don’t consider paparazzi to even be close to real reporters. They should not be given the same consideration as news reporters as far as freedom of the press. I doubt that the lawmakers were thinking of some predatory photographer taking pictures of some underage actress in a bikini when they amended the constitution. Speaking of which, it would almost be considered promoting child pornography when they print those photos. I don’t care what some celebrity does with his or her dog crap as long as it isn’t illegal. Even then, why is it a news item? Who cares?

D4 has his/ her head in the wrong space. Just because someone is a celebrity does not give someone else the right to follow them 24/7, bribe people close to them to get “the truth” about some useless scandal, or ignore the law and harass them just because they think they are a member of the news community. What an actress wears to go to Pilates class is not news and that means that the person reporting that is not a reporter, but just a peeping tom. I would never wish celebrity on myself or anyone in my family. I have experienced the callousness of a real reporter first-hand and have never regretted the language I used when dealing with that person. She was trying to manipulate three underage youths to give her information she had no right to, and was told in no uncertain terms what she could do with herself. I would not hesitate to do so with a lesser parasite such as a paparazzi.

Greg, I’ve been there, and well done, you! Ms Hathaway does not court the press or chase celebrity and should be able to go about her private life in relative privacy. One of the above comments touched on us all being on this site to begin with, as part of the problem. That’s quite true, but the headline intrigued me; I really wanted to read about an artist who’s not shy about asserting her rights as person.
