Another award for Heath Ledger

The Los Angeles Film Critics Association named Heath Ledger Best Supporting Actor for his work in The Dark Knight. This brings the late actor’s posthumous awards up to two and bodes well for an Oscar nomination. Pixar’s animated flick WALL-E beat out live action films to take Best Picture of 2008. Other winners include Danny Boyle as Best Director for Slumdog Millionaire; Sean Penn as Best Actor for MilkSally Hawkins as Best Actress for Happy-Go-Lucky Penélope Cruz as Best Supporting Actress for Vicky Cristina Barcelona and Mike Leigh for his Happy-Go-Lucky screenplay.

i really think that if heath didn’t die he would not of won this award or be nominated for a golden globe he was great in the dark night but not oscar worthy

Anonymous, your entitled to your opinion of course but I think your way off base.It is truly an iconic performance that stays with you long after the credits and although I admit he probably won’t win an oscar his performance is certainly worthy.
