Daniel Dae Kim booking shotDaniel Dae Kim, who plays Jin on the hit TV series Lost, was arrested for driving under the influence in Hawaii, where the show is filmed, at around 3 a.m. Thursday. Earlier cast members who have been charged with DUI were Cynthia Watros (Libby) and Michelle Rodriguez (Ana-Lucia). Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Mr. Eko) was arrested for driving without a licence, while Dominic Monaghan (Charlie) was pulled over twice for speeding, as was Ian Somerhalder (Boone). All of the above have since been written out of the show. The only cast member stopped for a driving offense (prior to Kim) who is still a regular cast member is Naveen Andrews (Sayid).

Ok so is DUI the new thing for celeb’s to do. It’s like every other day someone is being arrested for DUI. Its not even cool because they can kill someone.

I am so tired of reading about DUI’s! I agree. Is it a new Hollywood-ish thing to do? Come on! Smarten up already! Its a good way to wreck your own life.

I think it was their intentions to write off the characters when they did. DUI or not, the script ends somewhere, and it’s season 5 now; been a long road, story’s gotta end somewhere..

Get out of people’s lives. They are just people and they made decisions. Because they are celebs doesn’t mean they can’t reconcile and learn from their own mistakes. And they don’t know any of you personally that have posted, so I don’t think you shaking your finger at them is contributing to their development as decision makers.

    So, read a book.

–grumble grumble– piss me off.. always in peoples’ business, whom of which we don’t know… On here lookin’ for pictures of a cast member and I run across an actor who is being rediculed for something he did in Hawaii.

BTW, I’m american, and I am ASHAMED that we can’t keep our noses out of other people’s BUSINESS!!
