Another Polanski victim to go public today

By Alexandra Heilbron on May 14, 2010 | 10 Comments

Another victim of director Roman Polanski is going public later today during a news conference to be held at 10:30 a.m. PST, which will explain the “legal significance of her allegations.”  The victim, who has not yet been named, is being represented by attorney Gloria Allred. She is accusing Polanski of “sexually predatory conduct.” Polanski, 76, is currently on house arrest in Switzerland, awaiting extradition to the U.S. He pleaded guilty to having unlawful sex with a 13-year-old in 1978 but fled to France before sentencing. UPDATE: The victim is British actress Charlotte Lewis, who says Polanski “sexually abused me in the worst possible way when I was just 16 years old.” She goes on to say that the director forced himself upon her in his apartment in Paris four years after fleeing the U.S. to avoid sentencing for his earlier crime.

Wasn’t Polanski’s entire family murdered by Charles Manson?

That hardly gives him the right to be a pedophile. I hope he gets what’s coming to him.

Did anyone seriously think he only ever had sex with only ONE underage girl and then stopped? Pedophiles don’t work that way. He’s probably been a pedo his whole life.

“That hardly gives him the right to be a pedophile. I hope he gets whats coming to him.”

Maybe. I quite honestly have no idea what kind of mental problems would develop from having my entire family wiped out from underneath me. It’s a shame that you do though, my condolences.

No, JB, it’s you who needs condolences. There’s no excuse for rape, especially raping children. The only way you could think any tragedy in someone’s history would give them allowance to become a monster would be if that’s what you are – a pedophile, either that or you’re a moron. I hope you don’t have a daughter who gets raped by a pervert because she doesn’t need to hear you say, “Oh, come on now, it’s okay, he had a terrible life so it’s okay that he hurt you.” Sicko.

Exactly, movielover, couldn’t have said it better myself.
