Another violent outburst for Chris Brown

By Alexandra Heilbron on March 22, 2011 | 20 Comments

Chris Brown allegedly freaked out behind-the-scenes of the ABC-TV show Good Morning America this morning, according to a TMZ report. The singer sang one of the songs from his new album, then was interviewed by Robin Roberts, who began asking about his legal issues stemming from the infamous Rihanna incident. Brown, who is on probation for the felony beating, tried unsuccessfully to steer Roberts back to discussing his new album. When the interview was over, the singer stormed out of the Times Square studio, screaming loudly. One source said he smashed a window in his dressing room, ripped off his shirt and was making his way out of the building, without performing a second song as scheduled, when he confronted a segment producer, getting in his face. Other people reportedly had to get in between the two to diffuse the situation before Brown finally left in a fury.

Fame and fortune doesn’t change who you trully are, no matter how much you try and hide it, he’s a dumb bastard.

  2. Chris • March 22, 2011 @ 1:06 PM

I’m sorry but that would anger anyone if they were in his shoes. Let’s be real here people.

  3. Germain • March 22, 2011 @ 2:04 PM

Getting angry is one thing, smashing windows and ripping off his shirt is a clear sign that he needs anger management.

Leaving the studio and refusing to perform would have been sufficient, no need to go crazy.

Ahhh and let the ignorant people flame him for acting out. We have no idea if he and his people requested that the incident not be brought up. Again if they violated their agreement then I can certainly see how he’d get into it with a producer. Being branded by one of the worst things you’ve done in your life just isn’t right. He has done his time, He has endured endless media lashings he has clearly shown remorse for what happened is it not time we try and let him move on and seek the help he needs?

Imagine if you were defined by the stupid antics you committed as a child or college student…Would you say those actions accurately describe who you are today?

  5. Germain • March 22, 2011 @ 3:16 PM

Let’s agree to dissagree, granted, there are people that have done worst things then him but hitting a woman the way he did….I have a huge problem with that. There are people that don’t deserve to be in the limelight and should stay very very quiet. This incident just proves to me that he stills has an anger issue. I always found people that express their anger in a phisycal manner dangerous in different degrees.

One thing is for sure, I’m not ignorant so if you don’t agree with what I say, express your opinion but keep the names to yourself.

    – Ummm. If I were in his shoes I wouldn’t raise a hand to a woman. He’s a piece of trash in my book; I wish him all the worst.

Germain I am not certain if you heard the interview or saw the interview but Chris Brown was very clear. He wanted to focus his attention to his new album on the show and not re-hash his past. I agree that as a journalist (on ABC’s Good Morning America I use that term loosely) she should have asked him about that incident once. However Chris’ tone and response was very direct and more than clear. He did not want to discuss that topic and wanted to discuss his album. If that was the case why as a host would you then push and bring up the same line of questioning your guest has clearly asked you not to for a second time?!? After she did that she thanked him for answering the questions which he clearly stated earlier he didn’t want to be asked. I wasn’t even the one being interviewed and I felt it was condescending.

  12. Germain • March 23, 2011 @ 12:21 PM

I agree with you 100% but that’s not the point. Ever since there were journalists, they’ve been laying out traps to get reactions from people and get ratings or sell magazines/papers. He knew that going in, that in the forseeable future, any interview he will give, there’s a chance that this will be brought up but that’s the price to pay when you’re famous and commit this type of crime.

He did the right thing by warning them and ending the interview when they did not comply but instead of making a scene, if he was in complete controle of his emotions, he would have taken the high road. He should have thanked everyone, leave and release a statement through a publisist later on questioning the shows intergrety by using shameful tactics and use him and his situations to get ratings when he’s trying to move on with his life and continue making music. His reaction shows that he’s somewhat unstable and he looks like a jerk when the show gets free publicity and more ratings.

If anything, that interviewer will get a praised by the producer and Brown’s manager and publicist are probably pissed when they’re trying to rebuilde his imagine, he gets bad publicity like that.

  13. L1feless • March 23, 2011 @ 1:29 PM

I cannot say I disagree with you. He is clearly unstable and is still trying to find a way to deal with 2 year-old news being brought up like it is current. I will however disagree with you that the lady on the show will get praised. I know I am not the only one who has made a negative comment about how she handled that situation. I have heard it on several major new and media outlets as well. I suppose if I were to sum up my point here it is simply that I dislike one-sided poorly written critiques such as this article. It doesn’t accurately represent what actually took place.

    @Grammar Police

Germain has no issues with his grammar or spelling especially considering the venue in which he has chosen to post. These posts are fairly informal and certainly do not require perfect grammar. Assuming Germain is French (It’s OK nobody’s perfect J/K) the grammar used is excellent. On a similar note though I’d consider ending your critique there in a period…after all it is grammaticality correct.

  14. Germain • March 23, 2011 @ 2:06 PM

I agree but I expect that from them, a better reaction from him (afterwards not during the show) could have helped put him in a more positive light but I think he just shot himself in the foot. Jerry Lee Lewis’ career was ruined by marrying his 13 year old cousin, even though these were different times, it just proves that it’s hard to get away from bad scandals. Is it fair? it’s a case by case thing but that’s the reality.

My grammar is usually pretty good, I’ll admit that I write these posts quickly and do not double check them, I think most people would agree that they make a lot of mistakes when posting on websites such as this one. Thanks for that and accepting me as a proud French canadian 🙂

  15. Linda B • March 23, 2011 @ 3:49 PM

Grammatical errors or not — I agree with Germain. PS — Your English is much better than my French!

Chris Brown is a loser with a huge ego. He punched the lights out of a woman and now expects no one to mention it. So long as he continues to put himself in situations where the possiblity of the subject coming up exists — it is fair game. All he had to do was clearly say ” I do NOT want to discuss that” and when the line of questioning continued he could simply have gotten up and left. No need to prove the rumors true by breaking windows and “getting in a security guards face”. Just shup up and leave and be done with it — but Chris Brown is not capable of that. He’s a thug and he’ll always be a thug, and its just such a pity that people continue to buy his music and make him richer and richer.

  16. Germain • March 23, 2011 @ 5:28 PM

THANK YOU Linda, I was starting to think I was the only one thinking that probation and a little counseling is not much to help a potentially dangerous behavior.

  17. Spanky • March 24, 2011 @ 10:31 AM

If you can’t do the time, then don’t do the crime! The retard should know better, as a celebrity you can’t slap a Ho and then expect everyone to not talk about it. He should know as a celebrity he will have to talk about the beating for the rest of his career and just be happy people actually want to talk to him and just STFU!

  18. Denny • March 24, 2011 @ 1:19 PM

Screw him! As far as I’m concerned he should never even come back after what he did to that poor girl, Had he been anyone else, I would have agreed that he got angry because the media has a horrid habit of not getting the whole story, this guy is a loser, and I for one will never buy his music and really what kind of person beats a women? a LOSER!!!!

  19. Denny • March 24, 2011 @ 1:23 PM

They should have got in his face much more then again we would all see what a loser he is and always will be.
If he had of hit anyone it would for sure I hope end him I truly hate the man for what hes done to a women and I can only guess at how many other women hes beaten on his way up! lets just hope that on his way down he is not around women…….And believe me he will never get to the place he once was Goofe!

  20. Denny • March 24, 2011 @ 1:32 PM
