Are you Canada’s Next Top Comic?

SiriusXM Canada is holding its fourth annual comedy competition to search for Canada’s Next Top Comic. Aspiring Canadian comics can vie for an opportunity to audition live in one of seven cities (listed below). The most talented will go on to compete for a chance to win one of eight spots in the line-up at the Just For Laughs JFL42 Comedy Festival in Toronto, where the winner will receive $15,000 and the title of SiriusXM’s Next Top Comic. To register, submit a video of your best comedy performance at www.siriusxm.ca/nexttopcomic by May 26. Starting June 10, 12 of the best in each city will audition live for the judges, who will then choose the top three in each city to move on to the Semi-Finals and have their audition videos posted at the SiriusXM’s Next Top Comic website for a nationwide vote.
Auditions will be held in the following cities:
Toronto, ON – June 10, The Rivoli
Kitchener, ON – June 13, Yuk Yuk’s
Montreal, QC – June 17, Comedy Works
Halifax, NS – June 19, Yuk Yuk’s
Vancouver, BC – June 22, The Comedy Mix
Calgary, AB – June 24, Comedy Monday Night (Broken City)
Winnipeg, MB – June 25, Rumor’s Restaurant and Comedy Club
