Arnold Schwarzenegger puts career on hold

Arnold Schwarzenegger is putting his acting career on hold to focus on personal matters after publicly admitting he fathered a son out-of-wedlock (shown at left) with Mildred Patricia Baena, a maid who worked for the family. Baena has been quoted as saying that in the morning after Arnold’s wife, Maria, left for work, she would wait for her employer in his marital bed. His office released a statement yesterday that read: “At the request of Arnold Schwarzenegger we asked Creative Artists Agency to inform all his motion picture projects currently underway or being negotiated to stop planning until further notice. (He) is focusing on personal matters and is not willing to commit to any production schedules or timelines. This includes Cry Macho, The Terminator franchise and other projects under consideration. We will resume discussions when (he) decides.” According to Radaronline, Schwarzenegger only came clean to his wife about his illegitimate son after she confronted Baena about the boy. Baena admitted the affair and when Maria asked Arnold about it, he finally told the truth.
