Arrest warrant issued for Lindsay Lohan

By Alexandra Heilbron on May 20, 2010 | 10 Comments

Lindsay Lohan did not appear at a mandatory hearing at Beverley Hills Courthouse today so a warrant has been issued for her arrest. Lohan is currently at the Cannes Film Festival and according to her lawyer, could not get back to the States in time because her passport was stolen. However, according to TMZ, French authorities say they have no record of any police report filed by Lindsay to report the theft. At any rate, Judge Marsha Revel didn’t buy the excuse, saying “Actions speak louder than words.” Lindsay attended only 10 of the 13 required alcohol education classes that were supposed to be completed by today. The judge said she has reason to believe Lohan has a drug and alcohol problem and has set her bail at $100,000. She added the actress can remain free if she drinks no alcohol, wears a SCRAM bracelet — which monitors alcohol consumption of the wearer — and submits to a weekly random drug test while she waits for her next hearing.

I flip back and forth between feeling sorry for her and thinking she’s nuts. Today – feeling bad for her only because it’s so obvious this woman really needs help. Hopefully she’ll turn around and pull a “Drew Barrymore” and straighten her life out after all these troubles. Good luck.

I don’t feel sorry for her. Apparently she had her name on a guest list for a party in Cannes that’s happening tonight so she never had any plans to go back for the hearing. She didn’t do the classes she was asked to do, she’s been let off time and time again and it looks like the judge is going to be very lenient with her again. She could have her thrown in jail the minute she steps back on American soil but no, they’re going to allow her to turn herself in and she doesn’t have to go to jail at all.

It looks like she really had to go to the bathroom…

i hope this judge realizes she needs help and forces her to get it. if that means putting her in prison for a few years so she can dry out, then so be it.

Her mentality is that I am famous so I can do whatever I want to do and get away with it. Looks like it is true. Next you will see her on celebrity rehab. Everybody pull out the tissues for her because their life is harder than ours.

sarah, her life MAY be harder than ours. money doesnt buy happiness, if it did she wouldnt be so messed up right now. you have no idea what shes been through in her life, only what she allows you to know. she could have been raped, molested, beaten, anything. and i do feel bad for her, shes a misguided youth, she needs help.

Totally agree Mandee, she also has two pi$$-poor excuses for parents!!!One who enables her addiction by partying with her,the other wants her locked away,so he can spend the money she made,on other women half his age!!!No wonder the girl is so screwed up!!

  10. mandee • May 23, 2010 @ 3:48 PM

its not a fascination moondog, its a known fact that more than half of the women that suffer at the hands of any type of abuse do not report it. so anything could have happened to her and we wouldnt know it.
