According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ashley Tisdale is expanding her movie repertoire by signing up for many new projects including the remake of the 1989 movie Teen Witch. In the fantasy musical, Tisdale will play Louise Miller–an “unpopular high school teen who learns she is a descendant from the witches of Salem and has inherited their powers.” The producers of American Idol, FremantleMedia, are still discussing the details about the project with United Artists, however, the movie is expected to be in theaters late next year. Meanwhile, Fremantle Media is looking to sign a one-year contract with Tisdale to develop TV projects specifically for her. Tisdale has her hands full with roles in the upcoming films High School Musical 3: Senior Year (2008), They Came from Upstairs (2009), and You Wish (2009).
That’s great! She’s very talentd.
I hope that witch movie is better than the description. And I hope she doesn’t over-do it, we know what happens to people who have too much on their plate.
