Miley Cyrus had just finished singing her hit song, “The Climb,” at a sold-out concert in Melbourne, Australia, when a young girl jumped onstage and threw an arm around her shoulder. Before Miley could react, a security guard took down the fan and pushed her off the stage. Miley, who hadn’t seen the girl approach, backed up in surprise, saying “Oh my God.” The security guard then raced Miley backstage, bringing the concert to a halt. Slight overreaction, don’t you think? After all it was just a young fan, did he think she was a danger? This kind of thing happens all the time to guy singers and they just continue singing. This comes just after an undercover cop jumped a barrier in NYC last week to grab Justin Bieber, thinking he was in danger, but instead created an incident himself when he was mistaken for a violent fan.
