James Cameron is the man. Every time he touches paper and a camera it turns to gold. I love all his movies, I think he single handidly push movie technology with T2, Abyss and now Avatar. Very proud that he is a Canadian.

I thought that the world created was imaginative/inspirational w/o it seeming too sci-fi. The indigenous people living at one with nature, having a symbiotic and spiritual tie to their planet. A very enlightened, peaceful, innocent way of life.
Then in comes the intruding human occupation, armed to the teeth, with a lust for material gain/property, who have exploited/laid waste to their own planet and depleted their natural resources due to the pursuit of power, wealth, greed, short-sightedness..driven by a monetary society. Taken by force because they can, with no regard for nature, and the inhabitants way of life.
Yea, this theme IS redundant! Agreed Rita,by your take on the other Avatar article.
