Back to the Future will always be special to me especially the first one. the other 2 were a little on the corny side with huge holes in the story but still enjoyable. I was 14 in ’85 and was just starting to go to the movies being from a small town that didn’t have much else to do. Top Gun, Rocky, Elm Street and Rambo. All 80’s classics that will be timeless for people of my generation. I sure hope they don’t go down remake road with this one.

I love this movie too. I vaguely remember the sequels, but this is one of my favourite movies ever, along with Breakfast Club and Ferris Bueller.

You know I don’t think they’ll ever be able to redo movies such as Breakfast Club or Ferris Bueller, maybe the latter; but a movie like Breakfast Club in todays society would have kids/teens wondering, wait a minute why would they make a movie about stuff that isn’t happening in our time. But honestly, there are people that do live such those lives only now with too many cultures in North America it’s hard to take one view and make it into a movie about students from all walks of life, next thing you know, the movie will have the parents taking their kids life or something like what we see in our society or the teen taking their own life. Problem is, we don’t get movies that reflect what happens in our society anymore which in turn would allow others on the the outside to know when a friend or classmate is having a problem at home.

Are they going to televise that 25th reunion? I would love to watch it!
