Christian BaleChristian Bale has signed on to star in the fourth Terminator movie, Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins. He’ll play the role of John Connor, originated by Edward Furlong and then played by Nick Stahl. In the film, Connor, now in his 30s, tries to create a resistance organization with Earth’s remaining survivors to battle against the army of robots being created by Skynet. Arnold Schwarzenegger, who starred in the first three films, is not expected to appear in the new movie due to his current position as California Governor. Christian recently completed shooting The Dark Knight, his second Batman movie. Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins is scheduled for a 2009 release.

Who cares about saving the world! The army of robots are actually the studio moguls who lack imagination. Save me from anymore movies like this!

I hope Bale knows what he’s doing; the third one is going to be awfully hard to top.

I’ll see this opening day for sure.

They really should be waiting till Arnold is availaible before they do this. If they dont come up with a killer script the decision to continue these movies without him may break a good run and turn a classic into a joke. Bale is a good choice though for John, but without arnold…….. Even a cameo of some sort would be significant. Otherwise it is just another gap in the script.

Whatever happened to that “change the future” crap you spoke of? Couldn’t you tell they were losers?

  18. Borgnine Booster • December 6, 2007 @ 11:10 AM

See “Marty” and you’ll understand why.

  19. Nancy • December 6, 2007 @ 5:55 PM

“Whatever happened to that “change the future” crap you spoke of? Couldn’t you tell they were losers?”

Well, I said they were ‘sh*tty choices’….whether they were ‘losers’ or not is my business! Also, MY opinion of the future is not crap…so go and beep yourself because you are the ‘loser’!!!

Oh, and how come YOU don’t have the freakin’ parts to put your name on your postings?? Now that is crap!

  20. Anonymous • December 6, 2007 @ 7:20 PM

Is my name really all that important? You seem to think it is. But, let’s face it, it is sooooooo easy to yank your chain that my parts hardly make a difference in the scheme of things.

    HA! HA! HA! HA!

  21. cha cha • December 6, 2007 @ 7:21 PM

    Don’t like the truth, huh?

  22. Nancy • December 6, 2007 @ 11:32 PM

You can’t handle the truth!! And it is just as easy if not more so to ‘yank’ your chain!

And you still don’t have the parts!! You’re not important at all. LMFAO

  23. Anonymous • December 7, 2007 @ 1:22 AM

And YOU are? I repeat, you’re a legend in your own mind.

  24. Jack • December 7, 2007 @ 3:13 PM

Wasn’t that my line in “A Few Good Men” – “You cant handle the truth?

  25. Tyson • December 12, 2007 @ 11:43 PM

Hahah whoever thinks terminator 3 will be hard to beat is a complete moron.

Also, surprised Bale has actually considered taking a role like this. Maybe, just maybe it might be alright.
