The “man” who gave birth still has a uterus and vagina, “he” fought to be LEGALLY changed to a male, but is still anatomically a female. I don’t find anything fascinating about that.

I agree tributegirl. Whatever credibility Barbara Walters may have gained as a journalist in her long history has certainly been offset by the inclusion of a story that should not make it past the pages of the National Enquirer. But even most of the others on the list I wouldn’t classify as “fascinating”.

I think they should put Kristen Stewart from Twilight in there so they can talk about all her drug problems.

You gotta be kidding me with her choices as most fascinating. Larry King would be a better judge..

I have to agree with comments thus far. With the exception of Will Smith and Tina Fey, no one on the list draws my interest or more importantly, my respect. The others mentioned have incidiously gained fame, appear to lack moral fiber, do not garner compliments or have a positive influence on society. Those are the qualities that quantify “Facinating People.” Barbara needs to find venerated personalities and not succome to cheesy “filler” journalism.

Well said tributegirl and everyone that commented…NOTHING’S fascinating about a man that gave birth, and YES, Larry King would be a better “judge” than Walters…

What you people fail to realize, this is her take on who the most fascinating people are. Its her own personal opinion. We all have our opinions and so can she. If you don’t like her choices, then thats your opinion. Your allowed to have that just like Barbara Walters can have her own opinion on who she believes is fascinating.

I think her choices reflect her own personality. That of a piece of two-by-four.

what stars can you ACTUALLY say this is not true for? they didnt WORK to get where they are, they were lucky to be beautiful and skinny, most of them arent even that talented. and other than angelina and brad, what OTHER STARS do you see actually doing good for the less fortunate all around the world? and i am completely for miley cyrus and will smith, im not too sure who most of the others are, and i certainly dont like mind controlling tom cruise.

Sorry to be so blunt Lexis, but what you fail to realize is that this is a gossip column….it is our obligation to point out Barbara’s stupidity!!

Anyone notice Rush’s interview was very chopped up?? Nor did she mention why he was fascinating or accomplished? Then stated as if a fact Sarah P hurt the Rep party….hmmmm…www.howobamagotelected.com. What news channel do you watch?

To Barbara Walters – Your show last night of the most Fasinating People was terrible. I’m sure the only reason you had on Tom Cruise was to help him promote his new movie, Right? The rest if the interviews were meaningless and BORING. Your interview with Rush Limbaug was the worst. You could obviously tell you didn’t like him – the questions were stupid and the only one you made a fool of was YOURSELF!!

  13. Pamela Philpot • December 6, 2008 @ 1:25 AM

Sarah Palin is the only one of the ten people that you did not personally interview. You just showed film clips of her and not the most flattering ones either. Barbara, why did you not interview Sarah? Pam Philpot

I bet she got paid by the people she interviewed. That’s probably how she chooses.
