Kim Basinger has hired a bodyguard for her 11-year-old daughter Ireland after a voice mail by her father, Alec Baldwin, was made public last week.
Baldwin called the child a “rude, thoughtless little pig,” and threatened to fly to Los Angeles “to straighten your ass out.”
Baldwin’s visitation rights have been temporarily suspended.
Basinger’s spokeswoman says, “Kim did hire security in response to the media attention on her daughter in order to allow Ireland to maintain her regular routine and activities uninterrupted,” adding that Basinger hopes Baldwin will “finally address his unstable and irrational behavior so he, at some point, can potentially create a relationship with his daughter.”
Enough already!! We’re not talking about Baldwin as an axe murderer. Who out there hasn’t said something in anger or frustration that we didn’t really mean? Leave the guy alone. Is there nothing that is real news out there?
Give the guy a break. The audio was a private matter between his daughter and himself not to be broadcast world wide. Anyone with kids in this day and age, and survived a divorce is allowed to blow up once in a while.
Now, the person who released this tape, is the guilty one who will get there own at a future time.
maybe if the games would stop and the button pushing ceased, this young girl will be able to have the benifit of the love of both her parents
I agree that this should have been a private matter. However, where celebrities are concerned ‘private’ often doesn’t exist in people’s minds – just the word MONEY.
As for the incident itself – while I understand that Alec has an anger problem, has just gone through a divorce, hates his ex and gets frustrated if things do not go exactly according to what he wants, blowing up at a child, especially your own daughter like that and calling her names is DEVASTATING to a young mind! No matter who he is or what he does – NO parent should EVER blow up at his/her own child like that – particularly when visitations rights are at stake! Bad move, Alec.
You are all pigs!!! now that being said who cares what he said to his daughter iam sure you all have said worse to your children but because you are no one, no one else cares.,What ever happened to sticks and stones?
