Beatty and Bening’s daughter wants to be a man

Warren Beatty and Annette Bening’s daughter Kathlyn (pictured at left in a red dress) wants to undergo gender reassignment. The 18-year-old is said to currently be living under the name Stephen Ira and wants to have the surgery now she is an adult – despite her parents being upset about the issue. A source told the National Enquirer: “Warren is beside himself over the situation with his daughter Kathlyn. He and Annette have tried to deal with this over the years when their daughter was younger, but she’s determined to go ahead with the transgender operation, just like Chastity Bono. She repeatedly told her parents that ‘once I turn 18’, she would take matters into her own hands.” Kathlyn is the oldest child for the Hollywood couple, who also have a son, Benjamin, 15, and daughters, Isabel, 13, and Ella, 10. Chastity Bono – the daughter of singer Cher and her former husband Sonny Bono – recently underwent the final stages of gender realignments surgery completing the legal transition from a woman to a man, and is now known as Chaz.

I don’t blame her. There are a lot of advantages to being a man.

If it’s true that our species is alone in the universe, then I’d have to say the universe aimed rather low and settled for very little

The level of depravity by some people shows no bounds. This is a crime against nature.

if she has felt like a boy/man her entire life and especially once she hit puberty, then i think at age 18 she does have the right to become a man. i wish she would wait until she was 21 or even her later 20’s as we all have sexual feelings for both sexes (don’t we?) when are hormones are raging. i knew many girls in college who loved men yet would have the occasional fling with a girl they were attracted to for fun or when alcohol was involved and it was fun and harmless. but if she wants to pursue life as a man, i think she should have the right. she is obviously clear thinking and intelligent from her posts. she isn’t crazy sounding. but it is permanent. that’s the problem. there is no turning back. good luck to her. i hope her father can still accept her. she will always be his child no matter what.
