Beavis and Butt-Head live action movie? Seriously?

Beavis and Butt-HeadIn what could be considered the worst idea for a movie ever—Beavis and Butt-Head creator Mike Judge is thinking of adapting the ’90s animated show into a live-action feature. “For some reason, I used to hate the idea for years,” said Judge. “Now, I think maybe there’s something there.” The original show aired on MTV from 1993 to 1997 and spawned an animated movie—Beavis and Butt-Head Do America—in 1996. Judge also admitted that at one point he wanted Johnny Depp and Marlon Brando (who died in 2004) to star in a live-action version. It’s unclear which actors would be targeted for a new movie, but most likely Depp won’t go anywhere near this one.

Andy Samberg?? You must be joking!!! He’s the reason I started drinking on Saturday Nights again!!! No more SNL for me until they get a cast worthy of the name. It’s really gone downhill….

WHY IN THE WORLD would he think it’s a good idea?
    that show sucked
and WHY IN THE WORLD would he think that Johnny Depp would EVER even CONSIDER being in the movie?
    is he braindead?!
well, obviously…he’s the idiot behind all this.

To even think that Johnny Depp would even consider a piece of trash like this shows the man’s intelligence.

Johnny depp is too old unless he plays a neighbour or something. Beavis and Butthead WERE the 90s and I would love to see a live action movie only if they had the perfect live action versions of the main characters.

Sorry Dude, but Beavis and Butthead may have been YOUR 90s, but they weren’t mine. I’ve watched a few episodes but found that they were alaways on whenever I was out having a social life on the weekends. Sorry to hear about your 90s experience, though!!!

  16. Cant wait for Beavis and Butt-Head • September 10, 2008 @ 6:33 PM

I say John Heder as Butt-head and Sean William Scott as Beavis!!!!!!!!!!!

It could be a great idea if it were made the right way. Like let’s say instead of basing it entirely on the cartoon version they made it set in 2008 and they were middle aged alcholics.
