Beckham’s new Armani underwear poster unveiled

David Beckham appeared at Selfridges in London on Thursday to unveil a giant poster of himself for the new Georgio Armani men’s underwear line for Autumn/Winter 2009 to a crowd of screaming fans. When asked what it was like to model underwear, he admitted: “I don’t mind having the photograph taken but it’s a little bit embarrassing when it’s unveiled,” adding, “”I’m very proud to be here. I’m from London. My mum’s here, my wife’s here and my mother-in-law. Thank you to everyone for turning up.” Armani said of Beckham, “David has a great sense of style and is an inspiring role model – this is what makes him the perfect partner for Emporio Armani underwear. I am very excited that David Beckham’s new campaign image was unveiled exclusively in his home country and where better than at such an iconic retail destination as Selfridges.” Aramani has enjoyed a 150% rise in the sales of their men’s underwear since Beckham began modeling for them.

He a very handsome man but the photograph is not appealing to me. I like his natural good looks. The picture looks too futuristic to me. I do not like the way the hair and the face look. The pic on the left looks better than the poster.

I agree with the photo not being to flattering to his good looks…it’s too harsh and not complimenting to his stunning features…mind you the body is solid and the brand is well packaged with Beckman being stacked with the “Goods”…I would just choose a softer image…but he’s still a winner to me~~and Armani is perfection!!

Hi Constance…loosen up..feel the music so to speak… ever gone to Cuba if so then you would of heard the phrase ” PURA VIDA” which translated means PURE LIFE…maybe you should take up a language course or dancing lessons, anything creative or artistic, mind you I would say any hobby other than working is a BONUS… I’ve read that having a creative side to life gives you a better appreciation for living, and you can in the longrun live a longer and healthier life…it’s SUMMER soon and you need to CHILLAXX…is it a crime to have fun…how’s that in plain English..
