Jennifer Butler Murray has filed for divorce, claiming that her husband, actor Bill Murray, physically abused her and “hit her in the face,” telling her she was “lucky he didn’t kill her.” The papers were filed were Charleston County, where Murray is a co-owner of the Charleston RiverDogs baseball team. The Charleston Post and Courier broke the news. Jennifer Murray also accuses her husband of drug addiction, abandonment and adultery, and is reportedly seeking a restraining order barring him from her home, where she’s lived with their four children, ranging in age between seven and 15, since 2006. This is Murray’s second marriage — he also has two children with his first wife.
