Bindi turns down Hollywood

Bindi IrwinBindi Irwin, the daughter of late Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin, has turned down the chance to star in a Hollywood movie. She currently lives at the Australia Zoo founded by her grandparents and stars in her own nature series, Bindi the Jungle Girl. Her manager John Stainton says, “There has been lots of interest from lots of parties in the States. But it’s one of those things we’re not doing. While Bindi lives at the zoo in Beerwah, she has every chance of being a normal kid. I think the influences she would get from having to live in Hollywood, or do a movie in Hollywood, would be different.”

I really don’t think this child is going to be a ‘normal’ kid. look at who her father was, and hello she lives at a zoo. what ‘normal’ kid lives at a zoo.

She’s awesome. So much like her dad. They love all animals and have so much energy and care so much. I wish I’d grown up in a zoo with all the opportunities and education that she has about nature and wildlife.

Well, that is normal for her. Who are we to judge? Look at the opportunities given to her at such a young age. I am glad she is not going into that Hollywood scene.

I agree with you, Karen. We REALLY do not want little Bindy growing up to be like Britney, LiLo, Nicole or Paris!!

Yeah… she’s so lucky to have the life she leads. Although she lost a great Dad whom she obveiously idolises!! I think she will grow up to be a lovely young lady. Especially because she has a great role model, her mum Terri.
I think good parenting has alot to do with it all. And Bindi already seems to have a good grip on life.
Look at the other girls mum’s life styles… I don’t know how any one can you compare them to bindi??
All the very best Bindi and God Bless you!!
