Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds anger New York neighbors

What do they say about ‘love thy neighbor?’ Blake Lively’s Gossip Girl alter ego isn’t the only one having trouble making friends in the city that never sleeps as her and Ryan Reynolds cause trouble in their New York neighborhood. While Lively and her Canadian boyfriend settle into their newly purchased $2 million home in Westchester, New York, not everyone is happy to have them there. The New York Post reports the duo has been over the top in their demands for privacy, keeping their distance from locals. Their attitude problems came to a head during a dinner at Richard Gere’s restaurant, the Bedford Post Inn. When a couple got up to leave shortly after them, Reynolds snapped, accusing them of following him.

The 35-year-old actor met Lively on the set of their 2011 movie, Green Lantern. Although she was dating Leonardo Dicaprio at the time, they clearly had a connection and started dating shortly after her break-up from the Titanic star. ~Kyle Sharp

They are not A listers so why they thought people followed them. Who they think they are? Can’t we eat in the restaurants that happened to be in one place? Give us a break!

You know that this has been denied, don’t you? Nothing of the sort happened. ‘Causing trouble’, ‘not everybody is happy to have them there’, ‘over-the-top with privacy, keeping distance from locals, ‘attitude problems’. These two travel around, don’t have bodyguards, go to small country fairs, walk freely in New York and elsewhere. Why would anybody want to damage them with such made-up stories? How ignoble!

There should be a law against approaching celebs. And if they want to fine you for privacy then they can…infact Law inforecment everywhere should be charging people like paparazzi for scoping out and loitering in one area. It’s should be illegal unless the celebrity is at a signing function or promoting function where it is expected. It really hurts deep inside when I see posted pictures of an actor or what have you having dinner with their kids or walking in the park. It’s different If the actor has allowed you to take a photo and has hired you to take shots on set or is splitting the bill or is paid from a magazine company and is working in conjunction with a reporter/photagrapher. Paparazzi’s should be banned cuz they can get way to close and personal and most times try to get a rouse out of a celeb and catch it on film cuz those pictures are worth more. It becomes almost like a bounty and some paparazzi take it too far like when they bumped Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Limo just to get the first pic of him when he was just released from the hospital from having heart surgery. That picture was worth alot of money. The paparazzi and the magazine should then get charged. It’s stupid that we can’t leave an actor/sports star/musician/director etc alone because he/she is famous. Should be a law and it should be taken seriuosly 🙂

This story has been picked up and repeated. The headlines make it seem like Ryan and Blake are having parties and doing something to make the town very angry then you read what he has said to a couple in a restaurant. (maybe??) Who knows what he meant” He may be “rude” like a lot of people. If you get offended by someone that does not speak to you what happens now is go home start to “twitter, Blog, and “tweet” call the newspaper and tell everybody how you were insulted by Ryan and Blake who think they are better than you people think that actors “OWE” them something. If I read the comments of people, I would be paranoid too and Blake just recently got a restrain order against a stalker
