Sacha Baron Cohen retires Borat

Sacha Baron CohenSacha Baron Cohen has retired his comedic character Borat. He brought the Kazakhstani journalist character to fame in the hit 2006 movie Borat: Cultural Learnings Of America For Make Benefit Glorious Nation Of Kazakhstan. The controversial film made fun of unsuspecting members of the public. Cohen has decided not to play Borat again because the character is so well-known that he won’t be able to fool anyone anymore. He says, “When I was being Ali G and Borat, I was in character sometimes 14 hours a day, and I came to love them, so admitting I am never going to play them again is quite a sad thing. It is like saying goodbye to a loved one. It is hard, and the problem with success, although it’s fantastic, is that every new person who sees the Borat movie is one less person I ‘get’ with Borat again, so it’s a kind of self-defeating form, really.”

    He could STILL fool Bush…

A monkey can fool Bush; he’s a dumb ass.

Cohen could retire any and all of his characters and I could care less. Then again, any time an average joe can embarrass the hell out of rich, pompous socialite types – I kind of enjoy watching that!

I am sorry Sacha is retiring the Borat character. Borat held up a mirror to us and showed us how incredibly stupid so many really are. Of course this wasn’t ever about Kazakhstan. But you know that…

all the way with the last comment…sacha was never out to insult a nation or the jews and feminists round the world. sachas married, has roots in various parts of eastern europe, oh ya and hes jewish! so shut ur faces everyone hes just a comedian(extremely funny comedian) who simply, such as previous commenteers mentioned, hold a mirror infron of the world and exploits the stupidity found within our countries. wat u r all accusing him of is hate crimes….a comedian? ur probobly the same ppl who accused eminem of being homophobic cus he made a gay joke….grow up children

He may be a comedian, but he’s not funny.
