Brangelina ask Bono to be godfather

BonoAs if the high-profile shenanigans of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie couldn’t get any more hype, the pair have reportedly chosen U2’s Bono to be the godfather of their newborn twins. The UK paper the Daily Mirror claims Brangelina and Bono have been close friends for years and have bonded over their philanthropic efforts to save the world, one celebrity endorsement at a time. If Pitt and Jolie are looking for someone to guide little Vivienne and Knox through a life or moral righteousness, Bono just might be the perfect choice: the rocker was nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize, co-founded the Product Red campaign, and was granted an honorary knighthood by the UK.

    Nothing like shameless self promotion…haha.

If only Anton LaVey was still alive. I think he would have made a great Godfather to those twins. But isn’t Bono one of Anton’s half brothers or something?

I think he’s a great role model and will be an excellent godfather to these twins. He has also been married for many years to his high school sweetheart, I believe. That in itself is a huge accomplishment!

No, it’s just that star marriages never seem to last very long.

To the Anton LaVey fan…Bono is actually a very strong Christian although not a fan of organized religion. Good choice.

Hillar, it doesn’t appear that you are aware of this so just let me inform you, Christianity IS an organized religion.
Get it right or don’t bother.
