Britney Spears’ album did not take the No. 1 spot on the Billboard charts as anticipated. Spears’ Blackout was outsold by the Eagles’ Long Road Out of Eden, available only at Wal-Mart. Expected to sell 350,000 copies, Spears’ album has only sold 290,000 since its October 30th release. By comparison, Carrie Underwood’s latest, Carnival Ride, sold 527,000 copies in its first week.
