Britney Spears and Steven Tyler reunited at the Super Bowl last night – 14 years after performing at the half-time show.
The 33-year-old star gave the Aerosmith frontman a sneaky kiss on the cheek as the pair watched the American football final at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, between the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks.
In a message attached to a picture of the blonde beauty pecking the singer’s cheek, he wrote on Twitter: ”JUST GIMME A KISS…BRIT… @britneyspears #2001HALFTIMESHOW #WALKTHISWAY #REUNITED (sic)”
Britney also took to the social networking site to post a selfie of her and Steven from their VIP vantage point at the stadium.
She tweeted: ”Just ran into this guy @IamStevenT #SuperBowl #reunited #2001halftimeshow”
As well as meeting Britney again, the 66-year-old star certainly seemed to be living a life of luxury at the event as he posted a picture of himself lying horizontally on his sun-drenched seat as he watched the Patriots beat the Seahawks 28-24.
He wrote: ”GOT THE ONLY SEAT IN THE SUN #SB49”
Britney also seemed to enjoy her day out at the spectacle as she shared a picture of herself and boyfriend Charlie Ebersol wearing shades as they left the game.
He wrote: ”Amazing day at the #SuperBowl”
Britney and Steven’s band Aerosmith teamed up to perform the group’s song ‘Walk This Way’ at the Super Bowl XXXV half-time show in January 2001 alongside her then-boyfriend Justin Timberlake’s boy band *NSYNC, Mary J. Blige and Nelly.
Katy Perry headlined the half-time show last night, with Missy Elliot and Lenny Kravitz supporting her, and Britney was a big fan of the 30-year-old stunner’s performance.
She wrote: ”That half-time show! @katyperry you rocked it!! #HalftimeShowKatyPerry (sic)”
