Britney Spears returns to TV – again

Britney Spears is to make another cameo appearance on the CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother. Her March 24th guest role gave the show its highest ratings ever. Spears played a goofy love-struck secretary in a dermatologist’s office and has agreed to reprise this character in a future episode. An unknown source told People, “The show is ecstatic and so is Britney. She had so much fun the first time around she really wanted to come back. It was a mutual decision to work together more.” After the show aired last month executive producer Carter Bays said, “I thought she was great. I was very proud of that episode.” However, not everyone on set is happy that Spears will be returning to the cast. On April 10 Neil Patrick Harris, who plays Barney Stinson, said, “I’m in the minority that our show does not need stunt casting in order to succeed…I think we have a great show going, and I hope it’s not screwed up by the desire for 700,000 more viewers.”
She may have been a cute kid on the Mickey Mouse Club; but man, she’s turning into one ugly woman. Can you say “Rode hard and put away wet”?
I think it’s a great thing for her to be on the show. If it makes her happy, she should do it. Especially since she’s been so distraught lately, she needs this.
