Brittany Murphy‘s husband, Simon Monjack, 39, was found dead last night of a heart attack in the home he’d shared with Brittany. Brittany’s mother, Sharon, found Monjack unconscious at approximately 9:30 pm and called 911. Emergency workers arrived at the scene approximately 10 minutes later and tried to revive Monjack but pronounced him dead shortly after. Monjack had been diagnosed with a heart problem in the past and had suffered a mild heart attack last year, according to his mother, Linda Monjack. “We concluded there no signs of foul play or any criminal activity involved,” said police spokesman Alex Ortiz. Tragically, last December Sharon also found her daughter Brittany passed out in the home where they lived. Brittany died at age 32 from a number of causes, including pneumonia.
That’s sad
hmmm. i wonder if the mother did something to them (even though they ruled out foul play)? seems strange that she would be the one to find them both. anyway, yes this is sad news rest in peace.
coincidental or just weird? Some thought he and the mother were an item. Perhaps it is normal, but something doesn’t seem right about this
How unbelievable tragic for Sharon to have found her daughter and her daughter’s husband — dead or dying — within six months of each other in the home where they lived.
I would be selling that house in a real hurry, holy smokes that house is cursed or something…very creepy.
carol, i agree, seems unusual that 2 people would die and sharon would be the ONLY one to find them.
It’s not that unusual since she was the only other person in the house… I mean, who else did you expect to find him?
brittanys husband could have found HER when she was unconscious, why would she have been in the house with her late daughters husband at the time of his death? theres no reason for her to be there.
It’s her home. It’s where she lives. She and Brittany and Simon lived together. Why wouldn’t she be there?
generally when your daughter passes away and you lived with her and her husband, you move out you dont stay living with the man that was married to and sleeping with your daughter. theres something not right about that.
