Caitlyn Jenner fears going to male jail

Caitlyn Jenner has finally spoken up to the media about the car accident she was involved in last February, in which Kim Howe, a 69-year-old widow, was killed. Jenner, who was still known as “Bruce Jenner” at the time, was towing her off-road buggy behind her Cadillac Escalade when the crash occurred.

Howe was driving her white Lexus along the Pacific Coast Highway when a blue Prius stopped short approximately 150 yards ahead. Howe ran into the Prius and then Jenner’s Escalade rammed into the Lexus. Howe died shortly after the crash.

Reality star Jenner says she can’t say much about the crash because of ongoing litigation, but told Today host Matt Lauer: “A tragedy like this, you’ll never get over it. You just learn to live with it the best you possibly can.”

Caitlyn discussed the possibility of having to go to prison and her fear about winding up in a cell with men. “That is the worst case scenario,” she admitted. “I don’t know. We’ll see. The Men’s County Jail. It is an enormous problem that they would put trans-women in Men’s County Jail.”

However, Jenner, who has her own show now called I Am Cait, added she’s still happy that she’s undergoing the transition. “There’s nothing more, nothing better in life to wake up in the morning, look at yourself in the mirror and feel comfortable with yourself and who you are.”
