Cameron Diaz on pressure not to age

Cameron Diaz, 41, thinks women are not given ''permission'' to age. The actress thinks society has a ''crazy'' obsession with trying to stay youthful. Speaking to Oprah Winfrey for her forthcoming OWN special Cameron Diaz & Sharon Stone: Aging Gracefully, she said: ''Women don't allow other women to age gracefully. And we don't give ourselves permission to age gracefully.'' When Oprah says women are trying to be ''back there'' in the past, Cameron agrees and went on to say people view her as a ''failure'' for failing to halt the aging process. In an extract from the show, she added: ''It's almost as if we have failed if we don't remain 25 for the rest of our lives... Like our fault that at 40 years old that I still don't look like I'm 25.'' Elsewhere in the show, Sharon, 56, spoke of her philosophy of feeling beautiful. She said: ''We have to have internal health and internal wellness. And I think that's physical health, mental health, spiritual health. You know, I think it's a sense of ethics. It's everything."
