Carly Rae Jepsen to join Hedley on their Canadian tour

It was announced today by Sony Music that multi-platinum, Juno-award winning singer-songwriter Carly Rae Jepsen will be joining Hedley on their 28-date #HelloWorld Canadian tour, beginning this Thursday (April 7) in St. John’s, Newfoundland. The cross-Canada stadium tour will make stops in 26 different cities before concluding in Vancouver on May 20th.

Carly Rae recently appeared as Frenchy in the stage performance Grease Live! on Fox. The music video for her hit single, “I Really Like You,” which achieved gold in Canada, starred Tom Hanks and featured Justin Bieber, has had over 130 million vevo views. The single is from her third and most recent studio album, E•MO•TION, which was released on June 2015 in Japan and August 2015 worldwide.

Carly Rae has sold more than 17 million singles worldwide since her breakout hit “Call Me Maybe” from her sophomore album Kiss reached No.1 on iTunes in more than 47 countries. After receiving two Grammy nominations in 2012 for Best Pop Solo Performance and Song of the Year, she went on to win three Juno Awards in 2013 for Kiss, including Song Of The Year, Pop Album Of The Year and Album Of The Year.
