Celebrity hacker pleads guilty

It looks like the world jut got a little safer for beautiful celebrities such as Scarlett Johansson and Mila Kunis. The man accused of hacking into their email accounts, as well as those of other female celebrities, has pleaded guilty to nine felony charges. Alleged perpetrator Christopher Chaney faces up to 60 years in prison. During the hearing, Chaney admitted hacking into the accounts of Kunis, Johansson and nearly 50 other people. He went on to concede that he shared photographs with gossip websites, which published nude photographs of Scarlett Johansson, that were intended for her then-husband Ryan Reynolds. Attorney André Birotte Jr., member of the prosecution, views the case as a victory against cyber crimes but asks people to remain aware of the dangers of the Internet. “Today’s guilty pleas shine a bright light on the dark underworld of computer hacking,” he said. “This case demonstrates that everyone, even public figures, should take precautions to shield their personal information from the hackers that inhabit that dark underworld. It also demonstrates that the Department of Justice will take whatever steps are necessary to protect Americans from harm in cyberspace.” Chaney’s sentencing is scheduled for July 23. ~Rodrigo Cokting

I only have pictures of my junk on my cell. If anyone is willing to go through the trouble of hacking my phone to see that, they are more then welcome to be disappointed.

Celebrities are such idiots. If you take nude photos of yourself on your phone and then LEAVE THEM THERE, you’re only asking for them to be leaked on the internet

I agree with Name. And I think the guy was pretty clever to hack into the emails of celebrities. I hope they go easy on him. If these people are stupid enough to be emailing slutty photos of themselves, then too bad if someone gets a hold of them. Duh. These celebrities can’t be too bright.
