Celeb prankster leaves U.S. to pursue modeling

Serial celebrity prankster Vitalii Sediuk will plague Hollywood no more. Known for crashing the Grammys, Cannes, and many a star-studded event, the former reporter for Ukraine’s 1+1 tv channel recently told The Hollywood Reporter that he is “changing his life” and will be leaving the United States for London to pursue a modeling career. “I came to the decision to move overseas, but there’s some part of me that will stay in this city.” True: Vitalli leaves a memorable legacy of police and media reports following incidents with such actors as Leonardo DiCaprio, America Ferrera, and Will Smith.

Swapping red carpets for the runway and paparazzi for fashion photographers, it’s clear the aspiring model remains a devoted attention-seeker, albeit an appreciative one. “I would like to thank Hollywood for having me this two years and a half,” says Vitalii. “It was an experience that taught me a lot in life. Most importantly, I would like to say sorry for celebrities that had to deal with my stunts and thank them for being tolerant to me all this time.”

Vitalii’s mischief landed him a jail sentence, community service, and a restraining order filed by Brad Pitt, but at least his heart was in the right place. He explains, “The motivation behind all my pranks was always positive even when some of them went wrong and were not understood by the public. I know you will not miss me.” And I’m sure Hollywood does not disagree. ~Daniel Horowitz
