Chace CrawfordGossip Girl‘s Chace Crawford has reportedly done a screen test to replace Zac Efron in Footloose. When Efron dropped out, Paramount released a statement saying they remain committed to the film, which will be directed by High School Musical director/choreographer Kenny Ortega. “Footloose is a project we’ve longed to see rebooted for a new generation. While Zac is no longer attached, we remain excited and committed to the collective brain trust of Kenny Ortega, [producers] Neil Meron and Craig Zaden, who will reinvigorate the franchise,” a Paramount Pictures rep told UsMagazine.com. Meanwhile, Efron has signed on to star in the drama The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud, which will be directed by his 17 Again director Burr Steers. The film is about “a caretaker at a cemetery who manages to have weekly meetings with a younger brother whose accidental death he feels was his fault.”

Good point! … Also wondering what the growing trend is with guys that have THICK eyebrows!? Chace Crawford, Zac Efron, Robert Pattinson…. I don’t get it

Hahaha, I called him “Chance”. Oh, I agree about the “wings” (bushy eyebrows), they could get them thinned out a little and lose the unibrow…two are better than one.

I agree, why do they take an absolutely great movie and ruin it?

As for the Breakfast Club…a classic in my books. Should be mandatory watch for every kid in high school.
