Channing Tatum and his wife Jenna Dewan TatumChanning Tatum arrived home early to surprise his wife, Jenna Dewan Tatum, on Valentine’s Day.

The 35-year-old actor cut short his Hail, Caesar! press tour in Berlin in order to get back for the romantic day, and his spouse – with whom he has two-year-old daughter Everly – was bowled over by the “sweet” gesture.

She told talk show host Ellen DeGeneres: “I had a great Valentine’s. Channing came back early from a press tour and surprised me, which was so sweet, I thought I had two extra days. So I come home and I walk in. I come back from set and I was like what is going on? There was things in the kitchen. That was weird.

“And then I was like wait, there’s roses. And he put roses all the way up to the room which was so sweet.”

Channing recently paid tribute to his “special” and “magical” wife.

He shared two pictures of the Supergirl actress on Instagram and wrote: “It’s not hard to take a beautiful picture of the magical creature. But I thought this one was special.

“If it wasn’t for her I would have never even found the path much less stayed on it and not flown off in flaming truck of dynamite singing devil went down to Georgia. Hahahaha. To my light. I love you.”
