Channing Tatum’s daughter keeps him from getting fat

Channing Tatum, 35, hasn’t worked up a proper sweat since he finished filming Magic Mike XXL last year, but he doesn’t think he’ll get too out of shape because running around after his little girl Everly, two, keeps him active.

He said: ”I have not worked out a day since we wrapped on ‘XXL’… Everly is great. The reason why I won’t be getting too fat is because I’m running around after her all the time. She was on her feet at nine months, so it’s a constant marathon. But she’s a wonderful kid. Life is good. I’m lucky.”

And the Foxcatcher star has admitted his career choices have change since he became a father to the toddler, whom he has with his wife actress Jenna Dewan Tatum.

He explained to Heat magazine: ”It’s [fatherhood is] very much impacting on my choices. Now I think, ‘Is this job worth being away from them?’ I want to be there as much as I can. Home is the priority. I want to be up early in the morning to make sure my daughter is still sleeping. You don’t want to miss that. You don’t want to miss seeing that.”
