Channing Tatum’s stripper pals upset

Channing Tatum‘s new male stripper movie Magic Mike starring Matthew McConaughey and Alex Pettyfer has stirred up conflict with his old pals from the strip club. Two former strippers who worked with Channing confessed his upcoming film is a ripoff from their personal lives. Not only does Tatum have the starring role, he is also a producer and has claimed the movie is partially based on real life events from his past as a dancer in Florida. Thomas “Awesome” Austin and London Steele shared their thoughts on the project, indicating the stories are taken from their lives and not from Channing’s personal experiences. Even the title Magic Mike comes from Austin’s stage name. Although the strippers claim to be proud of Channing’s successful career, they feel betrayed by his actions. The men say they were his mentors, teaching him all the right moves to get the ladies screaming, including “The Hot Seat,” which is featured in the movie. “Channing was an amateur when I met him,” Austin told TMZ. “He only danced for four months. How many events could have happened to him?” Channing’s rep has yet to comment. ~Graeme Mollison

I see their point, in the same time where do you draw the line: after all experienced are shared,if I tell a story about my life, most certanluy part of it my involve things I know about a teacher,or a friend, still all that has affected me, so it did ‘happened’ to me…
Considering that he is making so much money though, he could probably share some of it…
