Charlie Brown and his Peanuts gang on the big screen

In 2015, late American cartoonist Charles M. Schulz’ classic comic strip Peanuts will not only celebrate the 65th anniversary of its publication, but Charlie Brown and his gang will come to life on the big screen for the first time. Since the introduction of Peanuts in 1950, it has been one of the most popular and influential American comic strips ever drawn. This week Vanessa Morrison president of 20th Century Fox Animation announced that the Schulz family has been working with the studio to bring the late cartoonists’ animated legacy to the big screen. Schulz’ work has earned hi’s estate more than $1 billion to date. The new movie, which doesn’t yet have a title, will be released in theaters November 25, 2015. ~Brandon Bastaldo
