Charlie Sheen’s new series coming to Canada

Bell Media has acquired the Canadian rights to Charlie Sheen’s new series, called Anger Management, which will begin production early next year. Sheen spoke directly to Canadians in a taped message that aired Monday night on CTV saying, “You seem like the nicest people in the world. But I know the truth. You’re holding in a lot of anger. Why else would you drink so much beer, put on shoes with sharp blades and smack each other around with wooden sticks?” Anger Management is based on the 2003 movie of the same name, which starred Jack Nicholson as an aggressive therapist. Sheen will take on the role of the therapist. In a statement released to the press, Sheen said: “I chose Anger Management because, while it might be a big stretch for me to play a guy with serious anger management issues, I think it is a great concept.” Anger Management will air on CTV in Canada and on FX in the States.

He needs to come up to Fort McMurray so we can show him how to really party. Charlie rules for an old guy though.

I will certainly give this a good watch. But it was also a ‘stretch’ for him playing Charlie Harper too lol.

They definitely have the right guy for the part. The reason why the movie did so well was Jack as an expert in anger. The one guy you do not want to coach you in anger management techniques is the guy you get. Charlie is the other guy you do not want to be a life coach. Imagine if they put in Ashton. That guy is annoying, immature, and has limited talent like a high school drama student. As a Canadian, Jack and Charlie are like Ty Domi as an anger management life coach. Funny to see if it was your neighbour getting life lessons but I’d ask for a refund.

That’s awesome. I won’t have to pay child support, he said upon learning his wife was rich.
